Good morning y'all! I just got done going live on YouTube and on Facebook in my group. I had gotten some tea from a friend who went to London and this past week I had gotten 2 orders from Virtual Run Events. Both of which have medals and sticker sheets. I am waiting on a response about the one sticker sheet. I had gotten the actual race which I have already. I just need the sticker sheet. I emailed them on Wednesday morning. They are usually pretty quick to reply back but this time it's taking a while. The first time I had ordered the sticker sheets for the races they let me keep the races and said I could share. They did send the sticker sheets. I am unsure of what they want me to do with the race from the order. They are quick about sending the orders out unless you order something that says being shipped out a certain month if ordering before that month. For example a race that ships out in March. If you order in January or February then you'll get that race in March. If ordering in March or April it'll take 2-4 days to ship out. This race that I am waiting on the sticker sheet is one of the races that I had ordered before they started doing the sticker sheeting or giving the option to add the sheet to the race. I am working on my patience and giving grace. My biggest thing is I want to do what is right. If they want me to send the race back I will, and I have let them know that, but if they are letting me keep the race I will share the race. My best friend Erika completes virtual races so I'm sure she'll do them. She's already done the Hocus Pocus race that I sent to her last year. I'm sure she will work on them. I do have at least one sticker race for my best friend Lyndsay to complete with me when she is down here. She has seen the sticker race already. I have 2 of the Maui Strong sticker races. I had ordered one last year and didn't realize it was a sticker and not a medal until it was delivered. The website is clear in stating it is a sticker race. There are 8 other sticker races and there's an option to have all 9 sticker races in a bundle that is cheaper than buying all 8 or even all 9 individually. SO I ordered all 9 knowing that Lyndsay is coming down here at some point. It's not as early as we were planning because her sister has a new job and Lyndsay needs to be home when the kids get done with school and off the bus. Understandable. I'm a little bummed. I'm not mad because people need to work.
I have decided that there are some races that I want to complete on the rowing machine. The Zodiac series being the big ones of 100 miles. Crazy I know but motivational. Right now I have the Libra one hanging up. I have the Aquarius and Capricorn that I am going to complete as well on the rowing machine when I am done. I have smaller races that I am going to complete and have completed one already. The one I completed earlier this month is the Groundhog Day race that is 2.2 miles. The next 5 are smaller races with specific miles on them that don't go from 1 mile to 26.2 miles. 3 of them are 5Ks. The next race I am going to do is the Leap Year race on 2/29 and that is 2.29 miles. Then I am going to do the Pi Day race the following week that is 3.14 miles. The following week I am going to do the 2023 Lucky Day race that is 3.17 miles. Then it'll be the 2024 Shamrock And Roll that is 3.17 miles. The last race is the #squadgoals May the 4th be with you race that is the longest and it's 4 miles long. All of which are going to be done on the rowing machine. I am looking forward to doing them and hanging up the medals and memory keeping them. Next week I do have to work on my fitness bullet journal for March. On March 1st the kids have therapy appointments and I am going to try and update my February miles for the 2024 Mission to the Moon virtual race that is this year. Since St. Patrick's Day is on a Sunday this year I am going to do the 5K races the week before and week after. I'm not going to be able to get up early enough to complete one or both before the kids get up and before getting ready for church. There's going to be too many people home and awake for me to be able to get the rowing machine out after church. So all of my work on the rowing machine will be done during the week while everybody is at work and school. I will make an attempt to upload a video on my vlogging YouTube channel.
Wyatt has some fun runs coming up. He said he wants me to sign him up for as many as possible. On Tuesday I discovered on that is for this weekend at the nearby college. While I was on the event page I discovered a 5K run on the runway of the nearby airport that is in a few weeks. I asked him which one he would rather do and he said the one at the airport. OK. So that one is $10 compared to the $20 for the one this weekend. The one at the airport is on March 16th. That race starts at 8am. We'll be leaving about 7 or 7:15 to get there and get signed in. Then he has one at the stables on March 30th. I'm not sure what time that one starts. On April 27th he has one that is downtown. That was the first one I signed him up for. They had the race last year but I didn't get Wyatt signed up soon enough for him to complete it. I am going to attempt to get some video clips and pictures and upload them on his YouTube channel.
My goal for this year is to work on becoming physically fit enough to complete in person races with Wyatt. The 5K run at the runway is a fairly new one. This is the third year for it. Next year Wyatt will be 8 and will be too old for the fun run and will be doing a 5K. He is more capable of completing a 5K in a reasonable time. I want to be able to do that with him next year and the race downtown next year. I want to be able to do in person 5Ks and longer distances. I have 2 friends signed up to do a 10K at the stables and they have done other 10Ks. I do have friends who run half and full marathons and I want to be able to do that as well from start to finish instead of my current one or two miles at a time. My goal is to be able to keep up with the kids and to have more energy. I also do not like the way I look both in and out of clothes. My weight has stolen a lot of my confidence that I would like to have back.
