It's almost the middle of February and Elijah had his birthday last weekend and his appointment at the end of January that we waited two and a half years for. She switched his nightly medications and it's been a battle to get the right dosage and I'm not sure if we even have the right dose. He said the last change has worked the best. The kids this week have a 4 day week. Friday is a scheduled weather makeup day and as long as we don't have bad weather closing school between now and then they'll have that day off. Monday is a holiday of sorts and they have that day off. SO they get a 4 day weekend and a second 4 day week. Last week they were home. Monday they had therapy and then went to school. Wyatt was sick the rest of the week. It wasn't covid or the flu. Probably just some stomach bug that is going around. Elijah fell on Tuesday because he had a reaction to the higher dose of his medication. I am grateful that they are both back in school.

This month I have 3 virtual races that I want to complete. Two of them are short distances. The first one is the Groundhog Day race and I completed that one twice. Once on the rowing machine on Groundhog Day. Wyatt wanted to go hiking the next day and that ended up being the distance. The distance of that race is 2.2 miles so I did that on Friday and Saturday. It seemed like everything was getting in the way of me doing the Groundhog Day race on Friday. From the phone calls to picking up friends to the vacuum cleaner not working. I didn't get on the rowing machine as early as I wanted to but I got it done in under 30 minutes. Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday and I have a race for that. We used to live in Baton Rouge so I had to have it and was super excited about the race. I am going to attempt to do 26.2 miles for that race since it is a race that goes from 1 mile all the way up to 26.2. I break them up because as of right now I am not physically ready to complete all 26.2 miles at one time. I'll get there eventually. I am still working on the Good Vibes only race that I started last month. Again it'll be another 26.2 miles. The next race that I am going to do is the Leap Year race that is 2.29 miles. I want to do that race on the rowing machine like the Groundhog day race. If not I will use the time I had for the walk I did this past Saturday when Elijah asked to go fishing. I walked 2.3 miles. I am not going to schedule anything for on the 29th of this month because I want that day to complete the race. I am still working on the Zodiac Series: Libra race of 100 miles. I am a Libra and I am doing that race solely on the rowing machine. That, along with the Aquarius and Sagitiurus for my kids, add 4 more distances of 50K, 50 miles, 100K and 100 miles to the 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1 miles and the 26.2 miles. I'll do 100 miles. I am still working on the 2024 Mission to the Moon race. I am using my total monthly miles for that and at the beginning of the next month I will log the total for that. Each mile I take and row will get added. I have a tracker for it. I just need to update January's. I did log January's miles. I love virtual races. I am waiting on sticker sheets for a few of the races. Something happened and I ended up with the actual races that I am grateful that they are letting me keep. I did get one of the sticker sheets for the one race. I have about 4 sticker sheets coming between 2 orders and 9 sticker races and a patch.

Wyatt is signed up for 2 fun runs that are a mile each. One is at the end of March and one is at the end of April. He's excited for them both. I can't wait to see how he does on them. There are adult races too but I don't have somebody to watch the kids for me so I can do at least the 5K and it costs money. Plus I'm not ready yet to do a 5K. Hopefully by November for Thanksgiving Wyatt and I can do a turkey trot together. That's the goal anyways.
