Black Friday Sales

Are different this year. Has anybody else noticed that some stores are doing Black Friday differently? Target and Walmart, for example, are having different Black Friday sales all month long. It's not just on Black Friday. I have no idea what store is doing what today. I have worked in retail and restaurants on Black Friday and you cannot pay me enough to go out now that I am out of retail and restaurants.

Virtual Run Events is doing a Black Friday sale. I am going to post my referral link for the 2024 Mission to the Moon event. I will be getting a small portion when you sign up. You have until November 30th to use code EARLY40 to save 40% on the race. After you sign up you'll get a code that is good on all 2024 races. The code works when the 2024 races are on sale like they are now. The code saves you 35% on the 2024 races. There are so many cool 2024 races that are out and I can't wait to get more than the 2 that I have ordered and I am trying to patiently wait for them. The Mission to the Moon stuff should be shipping out at the end of this month and the 2024 races start shipping out in December. I have some clearance races coming either today or tomorrow. I'll go live in my Facebook group and YouTube. I may wait until Monday to go live so that way it's quiet. The boys wil be back to school and mom will be back to work. https://virtualrunevents.raceentry.com/mission-to-the-moon-running-and-walking-challenge/race-information?rrid=27341014&fbclid=IwAR19clrYG-DrQR8XnWFUZ0cRBrcdzkc6A7q-EH2NdUOEAoWbi4kvTNbcjy8

I have started on my 2024 fitness bullet journal. I am using stickers from Hobby Lobby, Tarrins Sticker Shop and Craft Penguin Planner. My inserts and 6 ring binder are from Hobby Lobby. I am also using stencils, a mechanical pencil, and Mildliner markers. I don't know if I am going to use colored pencils or not. We'll see. So far I have done the Hello 2024 page, year at a glance, goals, and monthy calendars. I have not decided what I am doing for my weekly pages yet. Earlier this year I bought 5 fitspiration journals and each journal has 16 weeks worth of pages to track exercises, food and notes. I would need 3 full plus a month out of the 4th journal if I decide to use those. I have also thought about using them for a giveaway once one or both of my YouTube channels have reached a certain number of subscribers. What I need for my weekly pages are: to do lists, meal tracker (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack), workout tracker and a weekly weigh in tracker. I am debating on if I am going to include a weekly meal tracker at the beginning of each week like this year's Blogilates fitness planner. Since I am using inserts and a 6 ring binder I can work ahead like I have with the monthly calendars and I can add pages in between the monthly calendars and I can take pages out if I make a mistake or I'm using something. The last time I did a fitness bullet journal I started with a half page of daily journaling only to discover that I didn't use it so I took out the pages I could. It's a good thing I did a month at a time and not the entire year all at once like with my first ever bullet journal. My favorite thing about bullet journaling is you can make it to fit your own needs and you can get as creative as you want or go minimumlistic as you want. There are so many different journal companies. I have tried Leuchtturm 1918, Exceed (from Walmart) and The Paper Studio/Agenda 52 (from Hobby Lobby). My favorite is the Paper Studio/Agenda 52 from Hobby Lobby because the paper is thicker. I would like to try an 8x8 journal from Archer and Olive. They have thick paper too. I did watch a plan with me video on somebody using that size journal. Right now would be a good time to order from Archer and Olive since it is Black Friday.

I can't believe November is days away from being over and we have one full month left of 2023. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Next week I will be starting my annual squat challenge. One of the beach body coaches I am friends with started doing the squat challenges in 2020 as a way to have something positive. I know they did it in 2021 and 2022 but I kinda have done it on my own. In 2020 I decided to also do a YouTube video and that video was my first public video on YouTube and each year I have uploaded a video. This year I debated on doing the squat challenge but I have decided to do it and create the video. I'll be doing it in my Facebook group and I'll be going live on day 1 in the group. I am posting the link to my group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/758773971271101

Over the next few weeks I am going to be sitting down and thinking about my goals and what I wan and why. I don't know if I will make all of my goals public or just write them down and reflect on them. I am on a weightloss journey. Over the last few years I have gained and lost weight. I have noticed that I do get stuck losing the same 10 pounds whether it's been the current 10 pounds or being heavier. I got to my highest weight during the pandemic and it creeped up on me. I didn't change my eating habits and I haven't changed my eating habits to lose the pandemic weight or when I lost weight before.

Tomorrow is my weekly weigh in. I do want to see a lower number on the scale but the scale is only one tool. The scale doesn't define me. It doesn't tell you everything. It's a number. The biggest reason why I only weigh in once a week is because I become too focused on the numbers. It's the same for tracking my meals on either the MyFitnessPal or Fitbit apps. Some people can track meals on apps and weigh in daily and be fine. I am not one of those people. I wish we would get rid of the BMI charts all together. It's outdated. With the BMI chart a body builder would be considered obese even tho that person has way less fat than somebody who weighs the same that isn't a body builder. It's ridiculous. The scale doesn't know the difference between fat and muscle or if you are wearing clothes or shoes or if you have an empty stomach or a full stomach. It just shows you a number. I see the question of when is the best time to weigh in and my answer is first thing in the morning after you go to the bathroom and before you eat or drink anything and wearing as little clothing as you are comforable with. I just wear my underwear since I weigh myself in my bedroom or in the bathroom if there's a small child in my bed like there is now. I saw a video of a person weighing themselves with several different scales and each scale said something different. Layers of clothes and a protein shake did affect what the scale said. She said the same thing about weighing in.
