Almost Fall Y'all

Fall is in the air. It officially starts September 22nd. I had gone to the Fresh Market on Wednesday because I had some coupons from Ocean’s Halo for some BOGO free stuff and the boys wanted something specific that I knew they had. They had their pumpkins on display in the front of the store as well as in the foyer where they keep their buggies/carts. Food Lion also has their pumpkins out in the produce section. In October closer to Halloween we’ll grab some pumpkins from somewhere. I don’t know if we will carve them or just leave them as is on the front steps of the house. The weather has gotten cooler this month as well. Highs in the 70s and 80s and lows in the 60s and 70s. Some mornings I have been opening up a few windows to let the house air out. The cooler weather and the ability to air out the house is nice.
September is my birthday month. If you would like to buy me a cup of coffee for my birthday my CashAPP is $BeforeTheFit. I am less than 2 weeks away from my birthday. I have 3 Happy Birthday to Me virtual races. I have completed one of them on the rowing machine. I get on the rowing machine on Fridays unless the kids are home from school. The kids do start their fall break September 30th. I am on my second 10K step challenge that is 5 days long with one group. There was one last week that I nailed. They are going from Wednesday to Sunday and it has helped keep me motivated to move. Yesterday was Friday the 13th and while I typically treat it as another day on the calendar there were some things that seemed to push back my workout and me getting on the rowing machine but I was able to get on the rowing machine and absolutely nailed my workout. It’s one of my top 3 in time for the 5K’s on the rowing machine.
I do have an appointment coming up the day before my birthday. I had one last month and the doctor ran a metabolic panel and that came back normal. I don’t know if I am going to get my hormones checked or not at this appointment. Getting them checked is expensive and the insurance company doesn’t always want to pay for things and wants other things to be done and sometimes doctors don’t listen to their patients, especially their female patients. We’ll see what happens. I am still feeling exhausted no matter how much sleep I get and I’m irritated and frustrated and I keep gaining weight even tho my diet hasn’t changed and I am exercising more this year than I was last year. I know I am getting older and what worked in my 20s doesn’t always work in my 30s but something has to give. I completely understand calories in vs calories out and you can’t outwork a bad diet. I was gaining weight in 2020 as well but there was a lot of stress in 2020 and last year I had gotten to my pre-pandemic weight and then my weight had gone up again. I’ve talked to a few of the online health coaches and some of their programs I have liked and some I have not but even with the partial scholarship with the one online health coach the programs are not affordable.
My ex is behind on child support and had court on Wednesday but didn’t show up. I’m not surprised. There wasn’t really anything done which again I’m not surprised.
The boys are doing fairly well in school. Wyatt had to have his medication switched and then the insurance wanted a prior authorization which we got. Wyatt had to have some additional help with getting into the school routine and not running around like a monster truck. He does need a reminder every once in a while but is now staying in school all day, with the exception of appointments. Elijah’s only missed one full day of school and Wyatt has missed 2 full days of school. With the boys staying in school I am able to get grocery shopping done and my exercising done. I have been looking for a part time job for some income so we can do things.
